Christine Martinelli graduated High School in 2009 with a Distinction in Fine Arts Diploma. She graduated that year with the Board of Education Art Scholarship. In 2012, she started attending Clemson University for the Fine Arts Bachelors Degree Program. It was there that she learned skills in an array of art mediums, including: Ceramics, Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, New Media, and Photography.

 

     Christine decided to commit to Photography in 2016. Before this, drawing and painting were her main focuses. Her long term commitment to drawing and painting has gained her a strong understanding of balancing a composition. She is inspired by the beauty of light and shadow. More specifically, by the ephemeral state of light and how it naturally hits the subject. She often depends on natural light in her work, rather than flash or more contemporary systems of altering light. Her work is intimate and warm, focusing on personal perspective rather than popular imagery.

 

     Her work includes many nature scenes as well as lifestyle and portraiture photography. She is available for all event photography including engagement, baby, wedding, graduation and family photo shoots. She is currently available in the Biloxi, Mississippi area.
